Power and equity coaching for people who identify as White European descent asks the fundamental question: what does it mean to be anti-racist?

Starting with a process of identifying your commitment, coaching will support you to think more intentionally about power and, through the development of a power analysis, deepen your practices for upholding equity and examining whiteness.

This coaching is for those who:
  • Are experienced by others as being unfair, not inclusive and/or dominating.
  • Want to be responsive to the feedback you’ve received but are too hurt and/or defensive.
  • Caused harm, most likely unintentionally, and don’t know what to do.
  • Want to mitigate the crisis of being called out for being racist and/or using your position and privilege irresponsibly.
  • Want to be prepared to facilitate anti-racist dialogue and training.
  • Want to understand white fragility and how it applies to you
  • Want to interrupt the cycle of trauma caused by racism
  • Are committed to strengthening relationships

The coaching is designed for you to develop a healthy relationship with your power, understand your dimensions of privilege and identify ways to use your power wisely and responsibly.

After participating in coaching, you will fundamentally be courageous in mitigating harmful power dynamics - practicing engagement in anti-oppression dialogue and discourse, reparative process, cultural humility, effective ally-ship skills, emotional literacy and intelligence and informed decision making.

Individual and group coaching available.
